So got chatting with somebody and arranged a social and maybe more if we got on tonight at mine. Was chatting and talked for an hour on phone last week and seemed to get on. Few messages during the week then she decided to cancel the other night and said to make other plans. As I had already made room in my life for a meet I tried to arrange another (with no luck btw) then messaged her earlier to see if she was alright at which point she got funny with me for trying to arrange another meet saying we could still have done something in time when she was feeling better about it. Now she's told me I'm a dick and to forget about it. Is this normal practice on here or have I got the wrong end of a weird 1

Sounds like she was messing you about. If they don't want to meet, they will cook up all this convoluted rubbish in a bid to make it all your fault. I know.. I've had it done to me a few times.

Think you can still block someone after they blocked you. I do it so they don't go unblocking me then blocking me again

Guys do same kind of thing... chat for hours are really eager to meet then give some really lame excuse to cancel. You soon get to realise its the chase they get off on and are finished with you as soon as you agree.

Block the time wasters and move on.

Plan meets around your life, not life around your meets. Sounds a bit dodgy but there's only one side of the story here. Best just foget and move on.

Woman cancels meet, man tries to find replacement meet, can't, so contacts original woman, she gets upset that he tried to get a replacement meet, even though she cancelled the meet.

Seems simple to me - she didn't want to meet, but got upset when he went elsewhere for a meet. She should learn to communicate her rules for meeting a tad more clearly, and not be surprised if others have different rules.

No he tried to arrange a meet with somone else after she cancled as he had planned to be free.

She saw this and got arsey.

It's fairly common much like we occasionally have threads of people saying they'd made plans to meet somone then saw they have a meet request up for that day as they're making back up plans

Oh good, I thought I'd read it right. OP, she said to arrange something else when she cancelled then when you tried to she didn't like it?? Sounds pretty unreasonable to me, she's best avoided I feel.

maybe. i'm trying to make sense so something that does not.

like if she said to arrange something else why is she being stupid about it when he tried to? and the ill thing threw me off. a little punctuation might have helped also.
