Maybe it's just me, but if I see the new message alert flagged up, I have to read the message(s) first chance I get. It would drive me to despair to ignore it, and yet I send messages out that remain unread even when they've been online numerous times since receiving it. How does this not drive them insane like it would me?

I find the Quest site more annoying how you get the same mostly messages, from the same members!

You can also go into sent messages to view any replies and the sent message will also stay as unread

Maybe it's just me, even if I know I've got messages in the spam folder on my emails I find it impossible to just ignore them!

Yes but I have 190 unread currently and they delete themselves eventually!

I have 1000s unread messages in my actual email folders! Keep meaning to sort through but tomorrow never comes

They might just look at the profile and decode not to read the message,if you're not a match and then do mass delete.
