We have a couple who live on the same street as us go to Socials. It's absolutely fine. However, when I went to a Social and saw a girl I went to school with I did freak out a little bit. I don't think there'll be an issue if you go to the Social as long as you make it clear to him that you want things to stay as they are between you.

This is true but he is married and obviously on fab as single guy so I guess he may be more embarrassed. It's his business at the end of the day however.

Near Kettering

Our first ever contact on here was with our neighbour. Was a big shock when we foundd out.

Never been a problem though. We told them who we was and left it there.

Its not been mentioned again and it wouldn't worry us seeing them at an event, club or social.

Were all adults so just make things clear if you have to and carry on lol.

Over there

It's amazing how many folk on here seem to meet folk from fab in supermarkets/pub/plumber.... I'm not sure I believe them all!

Scotland's a small place though, sure discretion is needed...

I'm a Plumber and have met loads of people who admit to being on here, taking a "fab customer" for a drink this week.

It's no big deal bumping into someone you know.

Last year I bumped into my twin sister and her husband at a club. About a month ago I bumped into my uncle and his wife at the same club.

Go to the social and have a good time. If you see him there just have a little chat and agree to be discreet. I'm sure both of you would rather keep your private life private

Don't worry about it...its not a crime and we're all here for the same reason.

!

I've ended up meeting a client (and his wife) for a threesome....then got spotted on here by an ex-work colleague...so had some fun with her too.

Added to the excitement actually

For those that say they'd 'die' if they met up with their neighbour, anybody would think you're doing something wrong and/or illegal.

Gosh OP you really do get into some situations don't you! my Fab life is so dull and mundane in comparison!

If you want to go to the social, still go! If he's married but playing as single on here he has more to lose than you so will probably slink off early if he sees you there so you can enjoy the rest of the evening!

I feel he decides to stay then carry on regardless! He obviously isn't bothered by your presence so need for you to worry about his!

Enjoy!

Actually I lead.an extremely tame life! Wish it WAS more exciting to be honest! Seeing.my neighbour was a bit of a surprise as he is not a man who likes to talk about much to people except to boast about his garden! I will probably give the social a miss on balance just in case he is also a gossip!

If he's a married man on here on the sly I doubt he'll be gossiping about you being there. If ous just a social go , everyone is there for the same reason, not like you'll have the image of him in action engraved in your mind.

This is true. Definitely wouldn't gel with him in the physical department! He.may end up boring others with his gardening stories mind you!

Lol, maybe wish him luck then. I understand your concern, we've been through the same debate with one of our colleagues. They know we're on here but we were still putting off crossing paths but have realised it was probably inevitable so may as well get it over with.

His wife may know everything and its there kink, stop jumping to conclusions

Not sure why it matters, no one is slagging him off. I said "if" based on OPs post but don't think it makes any difference. If he's on here with his wife's blessing I still don't think he'd be risking outing what most people would see as an unusual arrangement to gossip about OP.
