My on and off partner and I are struggling to feel any kind of connection towards each other while he's gone back to his home country. Both of us are very busy so constant texting isn't really possible, we have reached a lull where when we do talk we are so used to not talking that it's just white noise on the phone line.

Both are willing to try, just have no ideas to feel a connection or for what we can do to make the other feel special.

We have individual and couples profiles on here and I see a lot of couples spending time apart on here too which is why I ask.

Thankyou for any help, if going to comment just to suggest I post elsewhere or it isn't appropriate, I understand but people talk about all sorts in the chat section of the forums so I appreciate that but request you save posting replies so those that want to be helpful can be.

I talk to Mr constantly. Text him constantly love telling him stuff and when I'm nightshift or if he's working away I could literally text him all night. You shouldn't feel like that or have silences on the phone.....you should be excited and have so much to tell him. You should get butterflies and be happy when you do speak. I do believe in absence makes the heart grow fonder x

Maybe try FaceTime, it might make a difference if you can actually see each other, you can a bit of sexy time too.

Yes face time or good old Skype can eat away the miles and help you reconnect, good luck to you both, it's hard being apart but it can work and oh boy the reunions

this totally. We get little time together but when we do it's like meeting for the first time over and over, my heart pounds! We speak everyday and message in between . Miss each other terribly but you have to focus on the times you get rather than fell sorry for yourselves when you are apart .
