Deleting read messages

Ladies once read would best etiquette not be to delete a message if you have no interest?

Quick, clean, rams the message home.

Or do you sometimes leave them unopened to look later (surely they get buried if you do hence I suspect not)?

I blanket delete my sents after a week in any case.. but curious to know why some delete regularly and some appear to hold onto them after having read them..

That's why I delete them after a week, fire and forget!

You'd be mad to invest in speculative messages to strangers

If I don't like a guy/know I won't meet with him, I'd reject him immediately, usually block too.

If I've read, but not replied, and not deleted.... It's likely, there's something of interest there... but there's also some crap too! Or not enough information to make a decision. Which is why he's a maybe.

But you're right, so many guys on here, that the ones who are what I've asked for, are the ones I'll reply to.

That makes sense, and is in line with what I figured. Guess I can take reassurance in a lot of maybes... (but still some work to do)

I tend not to like a lot of messages hanging about so I delete after reading regardless of my interest in the person. A few guys have been in the huff and assumed that I am not interested which isn't always the casd

i dont worry about my sent box. If someone is going to reply, I will get a message at some point. No point in speculating what might/might happen just because some has read and not deleted a message.

bulk delete read messages every day. Those i have read i keep if i am interested.. well save them.

Sometimes I don't even need to open a mail before deleting as the first few words on view are quite enough.

And yeah sometimes I'm just not too sure so may reply later...or not.

Haha and this is why you fire and forget. It's a numbers game but less so than say Tinder, the catch here for the single man is there aren't the numbers to fire at. On the flip side however...
