Being harrassed and insulted by a single guy who had high hopes of me becoming a personal play thing...tell me this isn't normal please.

I am so angry about it.....this isn't match.com FFS

It's putting me off single guys full stop and that seems unfair......even making me consider married guys as they will remain detached

You can block texts and phone calls just add to the block list same as what's app.

Not saying this is always the case - its not, but my experience of single guys is that many of them are frustrated by their inability to get club/party invites and whether intentionally or not (some are very blatant about it), often latch on to a single girl in the hopes of increasing their chances of getting those elusive invites as a +1. As soon as hints about a couple profile or upcoming events start I get that sinking feeling and just walk away.

I can assure you, this isn't always the case.. some of us are switched on enough to be able to get to socials and the likes without the need to turn into some sort of stalky loser.

OP, in this day and age you can block everything.. it's in the ... Bit on the WhatsApp menu and most phones will let you mark messages as spam so you don't see them and route calls straight to voicemail.

If he continues, report him to the police using the voicemails as evidence of his general dickheadedness

Am getting fed up with guys joining over and over with no photos saying that they are cpls single female etc. It's getting so bad. I don't trust none of the new people on here

I can see why telling everyone on a forum was your first solution to the problem, maybe try plan B and block contact?? Never know...it might be more effective

It's not normal but potential for drama is one of the reasons we don't use WhatsApp or give out our numbers. That said it's simple to block on both. If he's threatening you might want to keep the messages and talk to the police though.
