Having been messed around by a lady for weeks and 2 meets canceled in the last hour before they were due to take place. I think its high time there was a way to warn others of time wasters on this site!

I am self employed, and have lost two days work because of this!

Sorry, rant over. What do others feel?

Is having a meet really worth loosing out on a days pay ? nevermind 2

Sounds a bit desperate to me to be honest

Each to their own I guess

I should have applied the one strike rule I guess. But its hard enough to get a meet as an older guy as it is. Especially with kinky tasts. Lol

I believe there is a way to report no shows through the site tools?

But I don't believe in naming and shaming.

Fair commwnt, but thats how it works for me.

The point is, should there be some system of warning others if a meet was bad, or a no show?

In my experience it often turns out that you will of in fact been talking to a male pretending to be a lady. Hence the no shows.

Did your meets have valid reasons for not making it as we all have a real life outside work or did they just not show up

Time wasters are a pain! But being able to write a negative review is not the way forward...... this would just open up a gateway for people that have been knocked back to write negative/rude/abusive reviews because someone's not interested just like they do in private message

Yes I guess you are right. Personally I would never do that because of a knock back. But I'm sure there are some who would. Sad really.

I would make sure the people you plan to meet are verified, chat on phone or on cam first ......... that tends to filter out the fakes/timewasters x

The right place

Most people on this site that have been here for a while will have had a similar experience.

Just chalk it up to experience. Older and wiser etc.

I feel your pain OP, it can be frustrating on here sometimes. In every meet I plan I always add 'life' to the calculation. In a nutshell sh#t happens, I once broke down on my way to a meet and someone once crashed into the back of me. For these reasons I could easily be black listed...... but it wouldn't be fair would it.

If people agree to meet, you set a date and there is a last minute cancellation and they go quiet, no reason and no communication then it's fair to assume they are a bull sh#tter! Block and move on OP

Another reason why naming and shaming is dangerous. You might do something you regret.

True! I haven't even succumbed to temptation to tell her exactly how I feel about being messed around. Im a nice guy, but sometimes your patience can be pushed to breaking point!

Anyway, I think the case for NOT having a negative feedback system has been well made.

There and to the left a bit

I guess the question is OP how soon before the meet did she cancel? The reasons given are both plausible, but if she was having doubts in the second instance then I would have hoped she'd have told you well in advance.

Either way as you've conceded a negative feedback option is not feasible. Just block and move on and chalk it up to experience is all you can do. Not sure reporting will make a great deal of difference in this instance as she did at least let you know before the meet, and gave a plausible reason (regardless of whether you have cause to doubt that reason).

You've already met for a coffee.. Maybe they have decided you are not for them op.

Possibly... But we don't know what's happened since then. It could be something more recent...and as we are only seeing one perspective it's hard to form a proper opinion

As they say, there's 3 sides to every story.

And when is an acceptable time to cancel? Surely somebody can pull out without the fear of being labelled a timewaster.

Exactly this, we have arranged to meet someone new at a nice pub by the river on Saturday, if she no shows, we'll move on to dinner & the local club probably which is nearer than home.
