any body good with computers , our pc which was running od windows xp wont boot up

can anyone help

keep tappin F8 when u turn it on, or see if u have a rescue boot disk

my mum had an issue with hers turned out to the the BIOS memory or something... so she removed the memory,, hoovered out the inside put it back and hasnt had a problem since

Make sure you havnt left anying plugged into a usb port(that you dont usually have) such as your MP3 player or camera.Ours will try to boot from the device if we leave our MP3 plugged in which it obviously cant do.

Pressing F8 to get into safe mode should allow you to get into system restore so you can roll back your PC to a point when it was working OK.

also,,when in safe mode scan it for bugs and viruses and update the drivers,,as this can also be the problem,,if you dont have the xp disc,,its hard to get one from microsoft,,easier if you have the product key,,message me if you need help with either
