If a girl touches your arm during conversation, does that just mean she's comfortable in your space or could it be an indication of interest in you? I appreciate it may mean neither. I'm hoping it could be the latter!

I would say normally an indication of interest unless she happens to be falling off barstool or is naturally touchy feely.

It's because I want to fuck you. I'm not tactile generally, if we're touching it's because sex is on the cards.

It depends on the context and the touch, really. If it's a tap on the arm in a 'job well done' sort of way at work then probably not. If it's a lingering touch during a social and happens a few times then I'd say the chances are good

Reciprocate the contact and see what the reaction is.

Depends on the person and the context I'd say. Some people are more naturally touchy feely. In a pub with no reason to do so I'd suspect they're interested, unless they do it to everyone. To get your attention, steer you if you're about to walk into something maybe not so much about interest.

I work in customer service and many of my clients are of an older age range, I quote often offer an arm or touch an arm in conversation, it's not an attraction thing at all. It's about building a rapport and being a genuine caring person. IMHO

Well there goes the 64000 dollar question! I err on the side of it being unlikely but sometimes you never know. And I know that any man who thinks he can second-guess a woman is a fool!

It would very much depend on the person. .. one answer isn't going to fit all

There may be some times I'm feeling shy in someone's company and wouldn't

It is very subjective ...what is the persons nature ?etc

If I touch a girlfriend on the arm it is not an indication that I want to have sex with her. We are just friends and are comfortable with each other. Sometimes we even link arms when going shopping together. Helps balance each other when carrying heavy shopping bags

It depends on the context. If I was on a social meet, and was interested in taking it further, then yes touching your arm would be a sign of flirty interest.

If I was just chatting to a friend or a stranger in a different environment then it would just be a tactile friendly gesture .

It could be either it could be by accident it doesn't necessarily mean anything so its best not to read too much into things. If you must know if she is interested why not just ask her you never know you may get a positive outcome.

I'm in a minority with this I know but as a woman myself I don't hold with the idea that women are mysterious creatures that no man can possibly understand. We're like men just not quite as straightforward when it comes to saying we find someone attractive. That's down to society not because we're unfathomable creatures .

If you feel she likes you next time she touches your arm notice if she looks you directly in the eyes at the same time. If your conversation isn't one that means she's expressing sympathy for you I reckon you're safe to ask her father's permission to walk out with her.
