I thought I could do it. Until I read the comments on that article, so much vitriol and hate against it. And the assumption that it is cruel to bring children in 'that' environment. Would be a hard life I think, facing so much prejudice. people can't just live and let live But I guess it used to be like that for gay couples and inter-racial couples as well and things have slowly improved there over the years...

Not a chance. Even without the complications of kids, it's hard enough having one girlfriend a job and a social life. It never get a minute haha.

It definately has some appealing aspects on the practical side (e.g. child raising)

Having more than one emotional partner at the same time, love and commitment doesn't have to include kids and marriage.

We've both thought about intentional families and I've got a soft spot for the idea of a free love commune for a while. Just love the idea of a broader more loving community to bring children up in

Happily.

Dealing with others prejudices and the legality of shared ownership of property would need thought but physically and emotionally I would think it wonderful.

I don't want kids at all so that's not happening. But we have opened our relationship and discussed the possibility of poly further down the road.

Absolutely not. It's a struggle to keep one wife from throttling me sometimes
