Pardon the language please....

Chatted all early afternoon (and have for a few weeks) with someone, hoped and planned to meet up for a social this evening, then he goes quiet after we agree to meet up, hasn't blocked me, just not reading/answering messages (which haven't been extensive, just one "where have you gone" sort of thing).

This was a social, get to know you thing.

I thought only men pretending to be women did this sort of thing, this is a first for me!

All I can say is....MEN.

We're not all like that lol.

It may be genuine but probably just a time waster.

Give him the benefit of the doubt but I think you'll have to move on xxx

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

It happens. It could be a family emergency, or he may have cold feet. I would just leave it and if and when he wants to get in touch with you he will.

He seemed like a nice, friendly type, not pushy, et al.

His idea to meet! It was just social, so why the cold feet????? ah well....

It's really annoying, we had been chatting to a guy for a few weeks, he invited us to his house the following week, Mrs spent hours getting ready and I was messaging with him up to about two hours before we were leaving

With the last one saying we would be there about 8 ish just need your address. Still waiting for a reply (blocked named and shamed) so that won't be happening

put us off meeting single guys for ages, getting back into it now tho'

Some men loose interest at the suggestion of a social first, I'd say they're the ones just here for sex not swinging

Can't understand it myself, seems to be a lot of folk complaining about they can't get a meet in the first place and then you get the threads about folk not showing or chickening out.

Guess have been lucky in a 100% shows for meets arranged.

Well 2 out of 2 anyway

I think there are too many on here who get off on chatting, talking dirty and making plans but can never follow through.

Had a great chat a couple of days ago with a single guy who wanted to fuck my wife (who wouldn't?). Left it at let's make a plan in the coming days. Went to write to him yesterday to firm up and he is "user no longer on site".

Not as bad as a no show I suppose...

There are plenty who just want the chat and the chase and I get that, but if they were honest about it in sure there are plenty of people who would gladly take that. Still makes it harder for everyone else having to prove themselves

All this carnage going on, meanwhile normal nice guys can't even meet for socials due to mistrust and bad reputation. I do hate some of the guys on this site!

Why is it a man thing? Couples and single women behave in this way. Most single men I know suck it up, block and move on. It is one of the many fab facts of life which is standard for single men and this fab fact states "expect nothing and you will not be disappointed".

Contrary to the belief of some, I am NOT here to be anyone's boredom relief.

I am here for my own entertainment, no one else's, and I, for one, have never ever stood anyone up or agreed to a meet and then ignored the person.

I DO like a man with enough brains that he is capable of using it. Any man relying on me to overcome his own lack of a life can move right along. He probably doesn't even know what he's missing.

Don't think it's a man thing per say , think it's a certain type of person on fab thing.

Thrill of the chase , not 100% committed to the idea, waiting on a better option , fantasists ...

Any and more
