Are there many married women on here who have separate doms?

That are not their husbands.

Just wondered how it impacts your married life etc..

I had a dom (not hubby) for a couple of years. it was great as he would push my limits a little further bit by bit over a perod of time.

I'm seeing a married Dom. I have relationships outside this and we're very open and upfront about who and what we share. Our kink D/s relationship is fantastic and he's one ( or feels like) of my best friends.

Yes it's something I've pursued with a few men whilst being married. Didn't worked for a selection of reasons.

It's something we've discussed and are apprehensive about.

While it wouldn't be for us I can see how it could work. I'm not sure I can explain this very well. The dynamic between a couple might be such that a sub dom relationship wouldn't be possible but they could explore that with someone else. For me the level of trust and openess required for it to be successful is only achievable with a long term partner.

I do understand your points. When my wife and I have discussed it we've come to similar conclusions.

That is axactly how we feel. To me D/s holds an element of fantasy (though I know to many it's real). As a result I need to have a sort of fantasy type relationship with a man in order due the D/d connection to truly be effective. My husband and I do play at this together, but he has found he is better able to Dominate with someone else, and likewise I find being a submissive to another man gives me a more true experience. I personally have sought 4 different men to be my Dom, and each for different reasons didn't work. I don't look for that anymore, and the men we play with currently are not Doms. It's not out of the question, but there is an issue as to what my husband's role is if I pursue a D/s relationship elsewhere. It probably can't really be done properly because my marriage will always come first. But if it's kept lighthearted as lit of fun can be had. It is very emotive though. That's also why I've gone off it.

I think for me the fantasy of it is a turn on but not sure how it would work in reality seems a little dangerous.
