How on earth do some photos get so many fabs in such short time?

I thought getting 100 in a day was good going but some people have over a 1000!!!

It's the luck of the draw I think ... sometimes I put a pic up and it gets a couple hundred sometimes thousands ... all depends what's hot in the eye of the beholder I guess

I think it depends a lot also on the time of day you post them, if you post a picture early hours of the morning when a lot are in bed or in the day when a lot are at work then a lot less people will see your pics in the "most recent" page thus you get less fabs.

Also, some people seem to keep "loads" of friends that would see the pictures in their friends update pages.

Have seen a few men on hot pics before so it does happen. Makes sense that more women's pics there as loads of men fabbing and women have no problem fabbing another woman's pic that they think is good!

Also think the "computer generated" theory is abit far fetched!! Think people have more interesting things to do with their day !

There's any number of ways people get lots of Fabs, some mentioned already but I'd add:

- Simply have very good pics

- Regularly join fabbing threads in the forums

- Post statuses about getting fabs

- Regularly post new pics so they continuously appear in friends/local/hotlist newsfeeds and build up a "following" that way

I have wondered this aswell because some of the pics that end up on the hottest are well.. erm.. you know.. not hot at all.

Best 5 hours of my life, the pics don't do the night justice.......

3 fabs so far!!!

Met them totally innocently in the bar in Palms hotel.

Right. I have one, yes, one friend on here. I never ask for Fabs either on the forum or in my status. I'm not a hostess, and never have been. I'm not popular in the forums. I think there is a bit of a formula to it. As I see it it depends on the day/time the picture is posted,accepting every single friend request, having all categories ticked in searches, a face pic helps, getting on page one once ups your chances on getting on hot pics again as non supporters only see page one, and of course don't forget all the begging and pleading statuses about having fabbed my pics.

For some it is a full time job that helps promote their work on here. Just see it as very good, free marketing.

Can understand ... but your picture still has to be a good one for people to like it ... even if you are a host you have to take an attractive pic to be popular ... people can love you for being friendly but they have to class you as sexy to want to fab a pic
