We understand that meets sometimes go wrong & you would not leave a veri, after all unlike Fleabay you can't leave a bad review as it wouldn't get displayed. This is a shame sometimes but also understand why you can't.

Recently we have started clubbing again after a long break, because a new one has opened on our doorstop. We have met socially or played with several couples & had a great time, we've also sent glowing veri's to all concerned, many but not all have not been made public. We have only had one in return & feel a bit miffed, there was a time when people would verify us first!

Now we know it's not the be all & end all but it does help to keep our profile fresh & brings traffic to us. Also know some of the "young hotties" we've met we would probably not have met via Fab, but we can't be that embarrassing if they show our veri on their profile, so although on paper we're not compatible in a club it's ok, we both look much younger than our ages though.

So why are people happy to play with us in clubs & accept a veri, but not return the compliment? Thoughts please.

I always return a very if I receive one. Always

However I seldom post one first unless the guy specifically asks for one. If the meet wasn't great then I don't ever verify and don't expect the guy to either. I think it's only.manners to verify in return if someone has verified you.

We have never not left a verification for a new meet whether it be play or social, unless it's with people we've played with before it seems pointless. Not getting a return veri is a new one for us, keep thinking must be summit on our profile that puts them off, but hey they've published ours!!

We agree think it's rude, we too wonder what we've done wrong but they proudly display ours! Having said that we're more established than some we've met & have more veri's do they think we don't need any more?

I would see that as extremely rude ... i get asked many times to verify people even if just after a 5 min convo in a club as long as I can vouch they are real but if you have played with someone and you have verified them common courtesy is to return the favour

I'm not here for the verifications. If someone asks for one or doesn't have one I will write one. I'm not bothered if someone doesn't want to verify me.

Yeah ... We've loved leaving veris... And even if it was a social meet, we still leave a veri...

But indeed, we have left some and it's only been one way - but don't want to chase someone in case a) they didn't have a good time but we did or b)that it's rude to chase...

*shrugs*

Although we have also received veri's for the vaguest of things - they we don't display because it was neither useful like a social, or play based.

"I saw these two in a club from across the room" doesn't mean much to anyone other than we aren't just pixels lol.

(and yes, we have had that veri)

The longer I'm on fab the less I care about veris. I don't give them first anymore, becausee I simply don't think about it. Sometimes it will dawn on me that a guy we meet who isn't verified may want a veri, and then I'll ask if he wants one. But generally speaking I don't bother with them unless someone takes the first step.

Now of our meets recently I haven't even bothered. I just get on with planning the follow-up meet.

I like your thinking. You like someone you meet them. If you need a veri to see if they're genuine best give them a pass

That's interesting. I have not displayed my last two as I figured that I had enough! However I didn't think it would have meant I wouldn't meet them again.

Could be any one of many reasons .

One reason some don't verify us is our reputation of being players . They don't want to be associated with sluts like us !

Other reasons may be more personal , although you say they display yours , so shame can't be one of them .

But at the end of the day , if you had fun at the time that should be suffice . Just remember the ones who didn't verify you and turn them down when you next see them at the club

Of the 3 verifications we haven't returned, 1 was because we were catfished and 2 were very selfish people with their own agenda with no interest of mutual pleasure.

A veri we send is just a thank you note for a nice time and veris received are appreciated, we like the fact we have loads and keeps some elements of the "swinging community" from contacting us, which is great x
