I am curious how many people choose to not show that they have viewed profiles and why. I don't personally do it because I feel that looking at someone's profile regularly is indicative to them that they have something you like on there.

What are your thoughts on this?

No I'm not in stealth mode ...I don't see the point of it

Like people to know I'm looking and fabbing there pics

we view in stealth...it stops the "see you looked..." pms. if we have someone who views us a lot but isn't for us, we block them because it saves them wasting their and our time in the long run and frankly, it can get creepy...

Because if people see that you looked at their profile they send the 'hi I see you looked, hope you like what you saw.'

Had I liked I would have mailed them, I didn't so take the hint that I'm not interested.

It's just easier.

Why we do it too, what lots fail to appreciate is that many do NOT find profiles by using the advanced search function..We look at a profile because we like a new public pic or notice an avatar in the forums.

Have a peek, Fab a pic or two, look at preferences, we don't fit

Oh well, they are still nice pics.

If we fit a profile we may message or add to the hotlist if timing is wrong (like now).

Thing is, by going this way you don't know peeps profiles fit until you've looked.

Also for us advanced search is useless because it uses H's age when searching..

So we look in Ninja mode, to perve on peace..;-)

I dont really need to leave my paw print on the profiles I've perused. If I do it's by a fab or a message because I'm interested. Also, Id rather be blissfully unaware of the cock pic avatars that look at me!

As others have said we use stealth as it saves getting messages from people we've looked at asking if we liked what we saw, are we interested etc. The answer is almost always going to be no, or we'd have messaged you.

Then there are the ones on our Hotlist where I'd rather they didn't know how often I look

it's only natural to look, there is not thing wrong with it. Personally I won't message someone for looking once or twice. If they have looked 10 times in a week then I will take the initiative and say hello, some people on here are actually very shy.

Sorry it seems slightly contradictory to me that you want to be able to look as many times as you feel like with anonymity yet you seem to not want people looking at your profile many times. Apologies if I have misunderstood something in the phrasing.

We don't hide because we want to keep looking at profile. We don't really do a lot of looking. It's so that if we do happen to look people don't mail us. We prefer to do the hunting rather be hunted

we look once, anonymously...if theyre not what we're looking for, we don't look again...unless they've posted an update we find interesting or on the forum...other than that, because we generally look for couples, we don't know if both are in our age range, if they're bi or if they're smokers until we've had a peek...

We hide ours in case we look at a profile a lot. Wouldn't want to be accused of stalking someone. Especially if we've played with them before. Matter of personal pride.
