Why do so many couples profiles have no pictures of the male half?

We understand that some men don't play but that seems to be a minority.

Don't male halves feel that women need to find them attractive too?

I don't think that's it. Our experience has been that if there are no pictures of the guy or only old, unclear ones he doesn't really want to swing or he's more of a voyeur but knows they won't get meets if the woman of any couples they meet will be sidelined. Its why we won't correspond with profiles like that.

He doesn't but our experience has been that they don't say that. They imply that it will be a four way thing. It's extremely awkward when you realise they are really only interested in watching their wife with your husband. Even more awkward when they think you'll join in and play with his wife because he isn't keen.

Quite agree in the hotwife scenario or if only she is playing in any other form. We pass the mfmf play, no him pics by because for us the issue is twofold.

Why should my Mrs play with someone she can't even see.

Even if they say they don't take part what if during the proceedings they try to? especially if they try with H & not their partner?

For us none of it is remotely inviting so we give them all a wide berth.

Someone piped up earlier that it worked for them but when I looked at veris they were all club related, hardly relevant then I would have thought.

As said though we all run with what we are happy with.

Totally agree. All relevant to what people are looking for. Only involvement I'd ever have would be with my partner at her request. So in our situation it's not hugely relevant. If swapping partners however, completely different story. All parties have to be happy with the set up.

It drives me mad this and i discount couple profiles ,where they are looking to meet both of us, but have either just a cock pic of him or no pics at all.

I think it shows that they dont care what I think etc ,or as others have said that the mr is not v attractive in some cases.

We think that as we are looking for women, men and couples, we need enough photos of both of us. We don't usually message or respond to couples with only photos of one of them.

Its an issue for me. Look at it this way. If an internet clothes site had two dresses for sale but only had a photo of one of them I wouldn't order the one I couldn't see neither would I email and ask what the other one looked like. If they can't be bothered to show me why would I be interested?

It's clearly a polarising issue and we fully respect the preferences of others. As some have said, if you don't like then simply move on. Many including us do exactly that.

That said, we still cannot see the logic behind the male half of a couple who want to meet and play with other couples putting up pictures of his other half and if your 'lucky' just his cock.

Don't expect this thread to change lots of preferences but it might help some of those couples see how they may be perceived, but if your profile works for you why change!

I would say the majority of couples we've looked at or spoken to have a better looking female than the male. It just seems to be a common thing we've noticed. I can't think of a time where I've seen a guy who was more attractive than the woman. Sometimes a couple is equal in attractiveness. It's interesting why it's like that, there must be some interesting psychology.

We like to see pictures of both on here, even if we meet a single guy, we have found it helps us gel so to speak, as he knows what he is getting into as well. We aren't interested in silhouette's and to an extent that is kind of what a couple profile is like without the guy's picture. I enjoy ladies in couples, but if we're going to swap with a couple i'd (Beth) quite like to see what I'm going to get!

We don't have a problem with people not having photo's of both, we're just a lot less likely to be interested!

I think its all been said really. Some good points relating to couples that have a preference for single males. If the male doesn't play an active role sexually why have his pictures on display?

That said when I was single and meeting couples I would still want to see what the male partner looked like to get a better sense of who I was going to be meeting.

As part of a couple when looking for people to meet. If the other couple's profile only shows pictures of the lady I pass them by.

Why? Well if I contacted couples that just had pictures of the woman on display, I would feel like I was being disrespectful to my partner as I would only be looking out for myself.

We do have pictures of both of us on the profile both open and friends only, however, we enjoy taking photos for the fun of it and for our enjoyment if others like them great but vast majority only show Alexis because that's what we enjoy.

I agree with this. If they're getting the meets they want and not complaining there's no need or incentive to change. None of us have to contact profiles that don't suit us either.
