I think its only if you share any details such as email or whatsapp,that they might sync and suggest you as a friend.

Not at all, but one thing to watchfor, especially if you've swapped email addresses or phone numbers with anyone from here, and those email addresses or phone numbers are also linked to your Facebook account, then you may come up as a "Suggested Friend" on Facebook for people who have your email or phone number.

I've seen a few people we've met off here on Facebook, ones whose number we have saved in our phone pop up as friend suggestions on Facebook x

I've had people we've met through here be suggested as friends on FB ...they're all people whose numbers I've got in my phone so they must have those linked into their FB profiles. It's worth remembering that if you use yoyr phone for lots of stuff it will keep trying to link stuff and every single app you download asks for access to all your contacts, pictures and settings...nothing is unconnected

having said that, I've got loads of friends from here on FB...

Never use Fab pic's on Fb, just to be sure.

If you have your tel no' linked to facebook and you give it to a meet they will be able to see your profile I think.. but not the other way around.

Which is why its best to use a seperate phone if you are worried about someone tracing you IRL

This is down to google storing search information from your ip and selling the info on to facebook and advertising companies

If you give out your number to anyone on here it can link it to your face book.

We have had a few people we have met come up as people you may know because we have their number in our contacts. X

This is down to google storing search information from your ip and selling the info on to facebook and advertising companies "

You do also know that google tracks everywhere you have been? The police have been able to use this to retrace terrorists movements etc.

You can find it in your phones history somewhere or other (I forget). You can bring up a calendar, click on a date and a little map pops up showing where you have been!

Big Brother....? Google/book of face! It is here and now!
