I ask because a couple of time lately I've had winks from verified profiles, but when I've messaged them it just gets deleted. I'm not particularly bothered about it, the stats nerd in me is just curious about the error rate.

Only on the mobile site, unless the desktop site has been changed lately.

We do sometimes. We also send random invites (or accept them) but that's down to having a sensitive touch pad.

I can confirm that the desktop site does not ask you to confirm winks unlike the mobile site.

I've recently had winks to which I've replied, but then I've been blocked. One of these was from a well respected couple who then complained about fakes
