Why lie?

...I was told by my gran "laugh a girl into a bed and you'll be fine" it seems that many other grans were telling young men to just lie? I see some answers on this forum and think...Whatever!! ,would they say that whilst out with their friends??? As the Kane gang said...Respect yourself!
