What's a normal amount of sexual partner?. Recently met and went on few dates and then slept with a none swinger and she asked the arkward question of how many sexual partners have i had I lied because wasn't sure how she would react if she new the truth.

When I've been asked that before by a non swingers I've had to tell a little white lie and just tell them the non swingers, I wouldn't want to scare them off

There is no such thing as a normal amount of partners. What seems like a lot to one person is not to others.

I would have countered by asking why she wanted to know and would it drastically change her opinion of me if the answer was not what she wanted to hear.

If you are considering a relationship what is more relevant is the number and length of previous relationships and not how many people you have fucked. Even so i wouldn't ask but would hope a potential partner felt comfortable enough to share this with me.

I think if you start on a lie it doesn't bode well.

A lot is normal for me, hardly any is normal for my sister. If someone wants to meet someone who can count their lovers on one hand I'm the wrong woman so no point lying as they're not right for me.

I think a non swinger is only asking about the non swinger count. They mean "how many people have you been intimately involved with?". How many people have you had naughty fun with is just a different question and one that requires a bit more understanding that the two things are different

We aren't dating now. I work to much. Just seems like a number that means nothing to me and is probably highly in accurate because who keeps count really can potentially scare some one away and ruin what could be good. So isn't it easier to just give a slightly diluted number.

If someone wanted to know an actual number I'd be a bit concerned as to why they wanted such detail. I think they'd be able to tell from my attitude to sex that I've had quite a few partners, why they'd be interested in an exact number I don't know.

I wouldn't lie...I have no idea anymore...but if someone wants to judge my ability to stay faithful or anything else on that, then I have no interest in having any kind of relationship with them

I used give that answer never went down too well the most common response i got was "but how could you not know" followed by a look ( ) so now i just say what i believe is a reasonable number and that's the end of it

That's a good way to look at it. Couldn't agree more that if they had any doubt as to being faithful then they never approached with the right premise....It would most certainly be doomed.

I on the other hand married a man who always said he had no interest in how many sexual partners I'd had, he was only interested in the here and now. I think that speaks of a certain confidence in your relationship, someone who wants numbers strikes me a a little insecure.

I'm slightly at the averages, was a good bit advice average before I met G.

Can totally relate to you. Before we started swinging, my husband and I whiled away many a happy (and horny) hour having pillow talk about previous sexual experiences from before we had met.
