Hi just wandering if any of you fabbers have this I get couples and females and males looking but on profile clearly stating no single guys so why look if I can't message you back

Maybe they saw you on the forum and wanted to put a face to the name. Or perhaps they're seeing what men are about as they may be curious about meeting men but haven't decided yet?

We get people looking who don't want what we're after and vice versa. It could be that they do want to meet single men but prefer to look for themselves rather than try and deal with the messages.

Some couples will meet single men but say other on their profile because it stops their inbox being flooded with cockshots.

We have put the filters up from time to time because after the 10th cock shot it gets rather boring

Fair point I can understand that has was part of a couple for a few months and know how many messages couples and females get sorting out the best from the rest just frustrating you can't ask or wink back if interested

Unless the "no single guys" is in your profile header it's not seen until someone actually looks at the profile. If the person has just done a search without selecting any preferences then everyone's names appear.

Example your profile just says you are looking for genuine fun ppl, it only says no guys if you click and read your profile. So if you don't want guys looking say so in the header.

They won't know if they are interested or not until they look at your profile, but if they were I'm fairly sure they'd either wink or message rather than hope you noticed and messaged them.

The main reason we browse in stealth mode is avoiding the awkwardness of messages from people whose profiles we've looked at and aren't interested in then messaging saying I see you've had a look, what do you think!

I've got it at the first paragraph in my profile..i didn't want it as a header..i don't mind guys messaging me as some ask for advice etc,so long as they don't ask to meet I'm happy to talk but thanks for the advice

Have you considered the possibility that not everybody who looks at your profile is necessarily interested in meeting you?

Something about your profile heading, your status or your profile pic may have caught their eye and so they looked at your profile to find out more, and then decide that maybe you're not for them.

I am of the view that if someone who has looked at me is interested in communicating, then they will message me. The fact that they haven't, suggests that they may not be too keen on me messaging them.

There are some on fab who will have 'not looking for single guys' who may actually be interested in us single chaps, but have found that without this filter they get inundated and therefore may prefer to be the ones doing the looking.

Ultimately, if they are interested in communicating with you, then they would have sent you a message
