Who cares.... brains and a smile

Flat tummy, lumpy bumps, slim, fat, skinny dipper or chunky dunker!

Who really cares so long the person is confident and happy with themselves. Connect your imaginations and with your mind and the rest doesn't/shouldn't matter so much. Thoughts?

Sorry, a little tired of the many body image threads.

I don't see a problem with people saying they admire certain things on a man or a woman.

It has been a bit like that, hasn't it!

Here's to the people who are genuinely lovely and not complete dicks. Whatever you look like

I am a hypocrite I know but there is a certain body type in a man that I wouldn't consider.

I think it is preference but also not keen on people just wanting to meet someone only because they are a certain shape

If that makes sense?

Makes sense, just everyone seems so hung up on the perfect shape (whatever that shape might be) that sometimes i'd love to turn off all images on the site for 48 hrs and just natter to people without and see some chemistry than isn't skin deep.

Might make for some interesting and maybe shocking meets too but with no expectations other than see what clicks I think it could be fun. Which probably makes me a nutter but there goes!

i've done that. not on here coz it goes horribly wrong on here, like the 'nicest' guys who are chatty seem to be incredibly unattractive and i'm outta their league for sure. and i'm not saying i'm all that, just i know some guys must know there's no way i would fuck them.

other sites it's gone a lot better. the guys are average or better than that and not only using me for sex. like they actually are talking coz they enjoy doing it.

This isn't a dating site. Almost every person here is only really looking to make friends and/or have sex with others that they find physically attractive. While a decent mental connection is important to most, it's most likely not going to get you anywhere just by itself (other than to socials I suppose).

Everyone is inherently predispositioned to have preferences and biases, it's only natural for us to be drawn to and away from certain traits (both physically and mentally).

I'm fairly confident with my own body and personality, but I know that I definitely won't be to everyones taste no matter what I say or do. I'd say it would be pretty delusional of me to think that my body image should be irrelevant to everyone if I just have good brains and a sunny smile.

I wouldn't worry about people's common body image preferences though, no matter what shape you are, there will be someone out there who wants a piece of you

I don't think everyone is hung up on it, even those who start the threads might not be but think it's a good thread?

And plenty of us end up meeting people who aren't our mental ideal

I suppose what it boils down to is whether the perfect body type threads leave anyone feeling inadequate. And they really shouldn't because we are all different and all attractive to someone.

Take the Flat Tummy thread - I've never had one nor will, but the thread doesn't affect me. If it leaves anyone wishing they had one, and/or that they are a failure for not having one, then that's something that person needs to learn to deal with, in my opinion
