More timewasters

Have people noticed there are more and more timewasters in here recently. This site used to be great about 3-4years ago now people are not serious on here.

On another site, we ask that if you want to meet, get in touch to chat but so we know you've read our profile, we ask them to mention "Billy Bear".

So we got a message that simply states, "Billy Bear x".

I don't think we'll make an effort with that one, the conversation has already started on an uphill struggle.

We just tend to find that after various messages, 99.9% don't come to anything, which we don't mind because we class meets secondary, we prefer visiting a clubs instead. That way, we don't feel they're timewasters, we feel that they're stop gap fillers to chat to between clubs. If they advance to a meet, bonus.

Last time I went to a club was to try and boost my confidence cause of my social anxiety. But I find it hard cause I wouldn't want to go on my own mainly cause of travel but other cause the women just don't seem to wanna talk x

Try having some body shot photos on your profile as well.

We find many women like a little banter, wacky, interesting messages. So jazz up messages, add a little crazy. Many women like to be mentally stimulated as well, at the initial contact, it's just not always dicks and pussies.

We agree with the op on this one .

Three or four years ago it was certainly easier to out the timewasters , and we very rarely arranged a meet which turned out to be a no show . Now it happens all to regularly , and we've realised that there are way too many dreamers and wannabes on fab . Not to mention the sad people who revel in arranging meets with no intention of turning up .

It really doesn't matter to us , as we always have a great night anyway whether it be with each other or people we meet who aren't on fab . But we certainly feel for the singles on here who look forward to a meet and get let down by timewasters . It must be so dissapointing to have the time spent getting ready , the nerves and adrenaline pumping , only to find the meet doesn't turn up

One thing is true though - time spent messaging before a meet isn't really the definition of a timewaster . Despite the fact that they say they will meet at some point , the only true definition of a timewaster is someone who agrees to meet at a specific time and place and fails to show up .

If you haven't arranged a meet / social pretty quickly my advice is block and move on . The minute I start getting messed about this is exactly what I do

When I was here in 2013/2014 I had guys arrange to meet and then just not turn up ! Thats why I only meet at clubs now. If they dont turn up then at least Im still out and enjoying myself and havent had a wasted evening

Another form of timewasting is hubby and i went to meet a couple and all the way there we were in chat with them or so we thought just as we eventually pulled into their road he messages saying his brother in law has just turned up but he would be happy to come down to the car for some fun. Literally seconds after tellingus to turn right at the junction of his road. We said no thankyou and left whereapon he begged us to come back saying he woulddo anything we liked. We ended up still having a good night out though just not with him/them. After about ten mins he messaged saying the brother in law left and would we go back

I had a meet similar nearly got me late for work went to a couples road then they go she's shy i just left and got to work in time luckily.

Over the years we have had a couple of timewasters and these were single men. Drove 2 hours to a guy's home, text him for number of house and he said he had to cancel as his dad was rushed into hospital. Could have been true, but we didn't bother with him again. We now only go to parties, as everyone is there for the same reason Good luck op

We have been speaking to a few guys about a meet on Saturday.

Not being total newbies we can see all the warning signs.

At first we got almost instant replies and assurances of their enthusiasm.

Then it slowed down a bit.

With a few days to go two of the guys are now not bothering to open our messages even although we can see they are logging on.

We will let them continue to see our profile long enough for them to read the verifications of the night they missed then we will block them. Lol

I have the same thing with users from fetlife and elsewhere. Women new to the scene or just intrigued, they want to try submission, they talk to me for weeks discussing roles, limits, rules, scenes. Some even set a date for their first play... a small amount actually make the first meet.

its not neccessarily timewasting... its you going at a different speed to other people...

see timewaster is such an easy accusation to throw out there... leaves you blameless...

if you are having issues.... the common denominator is YOU!!!!

if the way you go about your process of choosing people isn't working... change the process! look at the checks and balances.... think with your brain instead of your cock.....

I don't think it's the site,It's how people use/misuse it I reckon.

I can remember posts from 3/4 years ago when you say it was much easier saying the same as you're saying now...that the site was better a few years ago n is now full of time wasters.

There's no doubt plenty time wasters here,but if you're letting them waste your time then that's down to you.

I had a guy message me for a meet. I went and got changed and unbenown to me he went and got another meet. Two reason"s he gave 1 i took too long getting ready (twenty mins 2 he told me hes meet was closer. He wont ever get a meet with me now

Definitely far more wannabe swingers and timewasters than a few years ago on this site, personally we think it's cause it's either cheap or free to be a member.

We spend an equal amount of time on here as we do on two other sites, we only get problems with time wasters on here !

Shame because it used to be good fun on fab.

We have spoken extensively over the last few weeks to a heap of people regarding some fun tonight.

In the end 4 guys have confirmed their intention to join us. They have all written many times asking for and receiving additional information. All have received and accepted friends requests. All have prior verifications.

All 4 stopped answering or even opening our messages in the last few days. Even when we can see they have been online multiple times.

All of them have been blocked this morning.

Time wasters.
