How important are usernames to you?

They can be descriptive, informative or just plain simple (which mine is).

I was thinking about a change to describe me a little more, but are you attracted to a name or put off? Maybe neither

In general I don't really bother too much but any bloke who includes the word sissy in his username tells us without any further investigation he is definitely not for us. Lol

"I often can't get past a user name if it's that bad. Pussylicker, oral king, King cock, just puts me off "

Agreed. Anything overtly sexual, arrogant or immature is off putting. Something plain and simple or even cliche 'blahblah123' is much better. Your name is simple and concise, there's not much point changing it to describe you more when you have your whole profile to do that for you.

I wasn't thinking of anything crass lol. Just a bit more descriptive.

For example I have a beard, would it be useful to know via my username? I feel it's a bit of an odd one to put in profile txt, but some like beards some don't.

Do you not think your name has an immature edge to it? Now you've explained it it makes sense but it's not obvious.

Nothing wrong with putting it in your profile text.(I sport a beard for those who find this a deal breaker).

If you put it as your username, the username would have to change again if your beard went.

This is very true and has stopped me changing it in the past.

And where is this beard of yours located?!

Any facial hair would be a deal breaker for me. I have to pluck every damn mortal hair off my body for meets, the least you men can do is shave your face

Anything that's sexually explicit (cuntfucker123 etc) or intentionally rude, I roll my eyes. puns are just as bad, but some are not terrible.

(Mine is boring, but it's a cross I must bear)

Choose something fun/memorable and you can't go wrong.

Anything too explicit is off putting, 50 Shades references make me cringe, ones with words like Bored in are hardly attractive and there are some names that are so often used with numbers or spelling variations that I struggle to separate the users in my mind.

On the other hand inventive descriptive names and puns get my attention for the right reasons.

There are some I don't go near because they advertise either what someone thinks is their prime asset, their only motivation for being on fab or it's just plain stupid. All of those reasons are subjective on my part but there you go. My username is pretty ridiculous all things considered but I'm used to it now (plus my autocorrect has learnt it) so I think it'll stay. For all I know mine might put people off, but if a username can out incompatibility early on before a fab, wink or message has even been exchanged then it's probably a good thing for all concerned.

I wouldn't change my name because someone refused to meet. ..I don't think I'd meet someone who changed their name just to meet me either. It doesn't really sit right somehow. They're still the person that choose the name that put me off in the first place and just tells me they'd do what it takes for a fumble.

Yeah KB; It is a bit geeky, but I'm ok with that. I'm not a fan of people who take themselves too seriously and a bit of self deprecating humour in their username is a big plus for me.

I'm single, but I considered adopting "Phil Anderer". It would be a great name for a married bloke playing away.

Usernames can tell me a bit about the person. For example I would be put off if someone was called "barebackcum", for example.
