Evening all

We had a meet arranged for Saturday evening with a female (photo and meet verified), cleared time for the meet and drove to meet her at a hotel, and after waiting half an hour and hearing nothing back, gave up.

After an hour she messaged again apologising and saying she was free in an hour but had a gentleman friend with her. We decided to take a punt and went to meet them, again a no show so found some entertainment elsewhere (thanks chaps, you know who you are!).

A further hour later she messaged saying she couldnt meet but her partner could... No thanks!

We thought that by going photo verified and premium membership etc we'd be able.to avoid all that, but it's really soured our.first weekend on fab.

Any tips how to avoid this kinda crap in future? We only have limited time.to swing and don't wanna waste it!

Brighton - even Hove!

There is no fool proof way but you could try talking on the phone and arranging a social meet before any sex meet. That would stop the men pretending to be women at least.

Not sure how you could have avoided this but as Brightonsteve said a social first s out the men pretending to be women.

In general if messaging quickly turns explicit or they ask for explicit photos they're questionable. Also if they go quiet in the days before a meet.

I wouldn't rely on that cos I can do a rather confincing Joanna Lumley so could easily talk someone into showing me theirs bits and bobs. Or bobs bits.

Unfortunately this is no way to avoid this kind of thing happening.

Yes go for a social first, but have back up plans just in case.

Check their varis, make sure it's not them just vari themselves from another fake account.

Exchange many messages first, genuine people won't mind, fakes trying it on will get bored and move on quickly. But that's just in my experience.

But ultimately there will always be time wasters
