Are parties good?

Ive been invited to 2 private parties in as many weeks

Never done the party thing myself, i just like to chill out 1 on 1 with my lady friend so to speak but im starting to get more curious

Are they good? Are they awkward?

We don't enjoy them but lots of people do.

Hi mate,

I went to my first party the other week and like you was a bit apprehensive. But there was no awkwardness at all. Everyone was very welcoming and as it was my first the ladies did pay special attention!

A great place to meet great people and have a great evening. Go for it mate.
