Kik scam

Just seem the admin header on updates about scammers using kik.

I would argue that if an unverified female profile on here, (no doubt with pictures that are far too good to be true) messages you out of the blue with a kik username and then you fall for whatever the scam is, that it's a kind of onanist natural selection.

Haven't we got past the whole Nigerian Prince thing yet?

well i have raised this before i watched the other day and the same girl kept popping up with over 9 profiles its annoying etc but surely admin can ban the ip address or e mail address?

IP addresses change all the time, or so others have said on here. Also, it doesn't take much to set up a new email address.

People just need to think with the big brains for a bit.

There was a profile on here not long ago giving out a very similar kik address to mine. The profile was unverified, no pics and only hours old yet I still had a stream of 'Hi sexy' messages on kik..... No pics!! How can they know she is sexy?!

there a couple of (females) who every day set up accounts with the same details mainly kik merchants i watched last week one girl had over ten profiles in a day same details just change of area in uk london manchester scotland leeds etc etc

So for us luddites what is the risk if you kik them? It's not like WhatsApp where you give out a mobile number?

Still haven't unloaded all that money from the bank account eh? Can't believe no one wants to take it. Have we become that distrustful?

Ive spotted the same profile will pop up for a week at most her status will be add my kik then it will vanish and be replaced by the same crap within a fortnight usually using the same pics and text
