Personally I find the whole Dom persona thing to be a bit weird. It seems to be a cover for insecure men who need to feel they are important somewhere in their life.

I find it stretching credulity that given the ratio of men to women here that any semi attractive twenty, thirty or forty something year old would go seeking one particular average seeming man when she already has thousands of messages to reply to.

I found John's explanation of the history that led to him posting this thread of interest, and not at all condescending. What I find condescending and patronising on the forums is when someone tells someone off for posting something. But others will find that perfectly reasonable. People have different sensitivities, and what is humour to one person is highly offensive to another. But if John were to say to everybody 'you're right guys, I won't do any more posts like this' then I personally would be missing out on what I consider to be some very enjoyable threads.

This thread of yours was simply the straw the broke the Camels back so to speak and people decided to give you their opinions on it on mass.

but why should he if that's the way he is. No-one should change how they are or what they say to please others. If no-one likes the way he speaks or treats women then you simply don't meet him. He's not the type of man I meet and I'm sure I'm not the type of woman he would meet,but that's not a problem is it. He's a grown man he can be how he wants to be.

The problem is that he's projecting as a practitioner of BDSM with some experience and standing on the kink scene. I'm assuming this is to attract submissives. I can't find any evidence off either.
