Do all photos sent privately via fab have the fabswingers logo embossed on the bottom ? We send face photos via what's app text or e mail to avoid this as we worry that if those photos end up in the public domain it shows they were on a swinging site.

Why don't Fab just have a logo without the word swingers in it ?

Well there are various ways of this happening commonly known as 'revenge porn' . The problem with sending face photos via Fab is they have 'fabswingers' on bottom of them which may be worse than a photo sent via whatsapp or text without such information which is slightly comforting when you lose your phone or have it stolen .

Nothing's risk free though and we all have to accept that our friends/family/ /neighbours/workmates could one day find out we are swingers by foul means or by accident and just accept it.

We've already worked out our reply to the question 'Mum ,someone has told me you and Dad are Swingers' ......

Sounds like a good site supporter feature. Besides each photo in your photos section is a little check box "show fab url" that site supporters can toggle on and off. Yet one more reason to upgrade

Unfortunately, however, it would probably double the footprint of the site as admin would need to store two copies of each image, one with and one without. That is unless they coded the site so that all your images were overlaid by a transparent png with the fab url on that either got shown or not. The only trouble with that is that it'd prevent people from being able to right click on your photos and download them and then there'd be no need for any more Sydney university warnings... tsk we can't have that can we

Actually we just checked some face pics others have sent us via Fab and there's absolutely no logo or url on them so scrub our previous comment. This isn't an issue op

After some experimentation I think this could be an issue to do with browsers...

OP is using an ipad and safari and sees the url (even when I don't)

I'm using android and Chrome and don't see the URL (even when OP does)..

So does this ring true for the others that do and don't see the URL?

Only the photos you uplpad to fab have the fab swingers on, if your using whats app or other chat methods send the ones from your phone gallery then there shouldnt be fab on the bottom x

No url on Android Firefox but a url on desktop Firefox... So I'd say it's a mobile vs tablet/desktop issue

Yes there is definitely an issue as I've had comments on here and also privately and it seems it's pot luck whether ' fabswingers' is embossed at the bottom of the face photos you send out or not. It depends on whether it's a PC/tablet/Android/IOS and also which browser you use too. The message is dont send face photos to anyone via an message on the FAB site if you don't want to risk them appearing somewhere else on the internet embossed with fabswingers on the bottom.

Instead send them from your phone via whatsapp ,text message or via your regular e mail account .

The bonkers thing to me is how come this issue doesn't appear to have been raised by someone before me ?
