House party feasibility

Hi all, recently have been having a similar conversation with friends about whether a house party would be better than visiting a club. Lots of people agree that with the party you will (hopefully ) know all the people invited and, in theory, it would run just like parties of old, just with a bit more of flirting and sex thrown in.

Ah! I hear you cry, what of the costs? Well, if it's byob other than a few nibbles and a decent play list surely the cost would not be too prohibitive.

But then there's the logistics, such as location and importantly cleaning up.

We agreed that there were pros and cons for both sides but I wondered what you lovely people of FAB thought? Please feel free to share your thoughts and especially any experiences you may have had. In my head, the thought of a get together with friends and acquaintances of a similar mind set sounds good. A laugh, a chat and maybe some naughties at a good old fashioned party.

Good point, and also hide a bog roll as some piss head always drops it in the toilet

I do my parties during the morning/lunchtime.....no alcohol and surprisingly little mess to clean up.... a handy tip is to have a small plastic rubbish bag hanging on wardrobe door for wetwipes, used condoms and wrappers etc

I try to restrict it to between 6-9 guests.....keeps the toing and frying to the kitchen to do cuppa refills to the minimum and avoids overcrowding if any playing gravitates upstairs

We've been to half a dozen or so house parties. Nibbles were provided, guests brought their own booze. Have to say they were blooming good fun, lots of playing, people respected the home of the host & i didn't see mess as much as picking up to be done the next morning.....

Having play space is important, although i did actually go to a party in a one bedroom flat with a good 10 guests. It's a good job swingers aren't shy lol....

If you want to pm us am happy to point you in the direction of a couple on here who do the most fantastic parties, they could give you pointers from a host view as opposed to my fuck and go perspective....

We've been to loads of parties, love them, ask guests to bring their own booze and condoms, and a plate for the buffet, and costs will be minimal. Make sure you have loads of towels in each playroom, and a cheap shower curtain for the beds for those ladies that gush or squirt.

The guest list should be a mix of friends, and friends of friends.
