That when you are completely honest about your intentions and how much you are into a fella, some of them feel the need to play games?

Eg: reading a message and not responding for ever ten days!

Saying no Internet for a week and you've seen them on fab!

Such a shame. A couple of guys that I could've had incredible regular fun with now blocked

Thoughts please..

Because this is a site considered for NSA and if you tell a guy you've got feelings they rarely have the balls to say "Well I don't"

Probably because they don't want any commitment so they've evacuated before it turns into something else?

Indeed it does!

Personally I don't think they believe my honesty! I think I'm tarred with their previous experiences x

"Probably because they don't want any commitment so they've evacuated before it turns into something else?"

So why not say that when I've made it clear that I don't want a commitment with someone who's not into that?

If you're going to talk to a guy about feelings, make sure he's at least on the same wavelength in those terms.

You need to be sure of that or it just sounds flat out fucking weird to the recipient.

Speaking as a guy.

I've had the same recently. Incredible meet, got on like a house on fire, agreed to be friends. He was the one messaging, asking how I was etc then when I suggested meeting again, went funny. The excuses, no internet when online here, even made up a dead relative. Block, delete. Move on.

It's the hunt many get off on. They've had you and rather than be honest, go funny. Shame we can't name and shame sometimes, wouldn't want others to fall for the same drivel

To be fair, everyone has a dead relative.

Chalk him up to experience.

From my point of view, I'm not interested in someone who doesn't have feelings, because unless you have, sex is just a shag.

However, if you aren't clear why you're there and the boundaries are not set and stated, then declarations of feelings may be unexpected and feel like the game is being moved onto another pitch.

It's rather obvious due to the single bloke ratio on here, that plenty are just in it for a shag. Filter them with a social and a completely up-front and honest chat during it. For some, a shag is all they (male and female) want, which is fine, as long as that dovetails in with your expectations.

Me? I'm more into being with someone I'd actually want to meet even if circumstances precluded bedtime. I pick my partners on that basis, so experiencing feelings isn't exactly a shock or a warning. For me, it's more a sign I made a good choice.

This doesn't make me right, or them wrong. It's just dealing with expectations before they become an issue.

R
