Who here uses the meets and events function?

Hi we were wondering if the meets and events function is widely used and popular on the site? It's a good idea to let people know when your available for a meet and we're just curious if it's a worthwhile tool to use? M&J

Absolutely. It's a great way of advertising availability as other search and can specify 'Meet Today" and also people browse the Meets section in their area.

Even single males will see an increase in traffic , if measured by Viewings of Profile.

Indeed yes, we often post when we know we'll be free, or going to a club (2 meetings on our profile now)

Also when we find ourselves free at short notice, we click looking to meet today, as well as looking for local meeting requests

Works for us when we hold parties,but of late doesn't seem to work for other meetings have been very much lacking

Got to be worth a try, surely. I mean, what do have to lose? I am often checking it to see who and what is going on. It isn't comprehensive but it is definitely a great way to advertise your availability. Sure, you will probably get time wasters and the like, but then again, you get them all over anyway.

Go for it.

I've never met anyone. It's very quite where I am and nothing is ever posted when I look.

I've never posted a meet myself so I can't comment on that.

I've used it but it's hit and miss as not many that respond actually read your profile.

I did however use it on valentines day and ended up going out for dinner and drinks with a nice guy
