Its just that there are so many people asking if they can do this. They inevitably don't have a decent photo on their profile. If you're that great a photographer. You own pictures would be a heck of a lot better than they are. So you can't blame people for being sceptical. It's up to you to prove them wrong. And your ability to send people links is as easy as me linking someone to find a local takeaway, for example www.just-eat.co.uk "

It isn't really surprising the op is getting a bit of a hard time or that people are suspicious. Most of the "professional" photographers on fab offering their services have the most appalling profile pictures. We have yet to meet even an amateur photographer who would let themselves down with a substandard photograph of anything - even one of themselves.

We don't claim to be photographers at all, but we take some pride in ensuring the pictures we post are the best they can be.

Absolutely this, there are so many folk on here who talk the talk but don't walk the walk, that the best way to attract (positive!) attention is to display evidence of what you're offering. In this case, some well composed, artistic and erotic images of yourself to show what you're capable of.

Anyone with proper lighting and kit set up would be able to take some nice self portraits and edit them as examples. Even just with my phone camera on timer and a basic editing app I've managed to take some pics that are a little more arty than quick snaps and I'm far from a professional photographer!!

Doesn't have to be your cock... Other body parts can make for sexy (in fact many women would say sexier) images. Torso, shoulders, bum... Even clothed rather than naked. I love a well composed suit pic for example!

Selling yourself first is an important factor when shooting half dressed/naked people as its a very personal space they are letting you into, if you are a good tog be able to show your work & also be able to provide refs as this speaks for itself.

How you conduct yourself around semi dressed/naked is the other important factor as people talk word of mouth will make or break.

I'm no saint & yes I have probably had fun with a big percent of the ladies I've shot but never when I'm doing their pics & only because they have asked me, I am in a different zone when I'm taking pics & it's not a sexual one as I'm more worried about light & angles etc.

Present yourself as best you can be polite be patient & add a bit of genuine humour as its an ice breaker when a shy naked lady wants to feel comfortable in front of you.

My friends say I charm the ladies knickers off but I hope to its because they like their pics they come back for more.

Goodluck on here OP as it will get better the more they know you.

I presume being a male photographer that you would be taking a female with you on any erotic/nude shoot as this is common practice and gives the model more assurance that you're not going to be trying it on. It also covers yourself in case its vice versa.

As keen amateur photographers we have done various shoots which include weddings, baby bump, online catalogue, lingerie and cola.

Like others have said improve your shop window on here as it will give potential clients a more positive approach should they wish to use your service.

We're taking some new ones today.

Are you going to be paying the model or do you expect them to pay you? If we were to shoot erotic/nude photos for others it would at first be a straight swap. Pics for experience.

Lots of people on this thread with fabulous photos. OP I would take on board the recommendations given. Your own photos could be fantastic. They don't all need to be cock shots. I for one prefer body shots or ones with props. However OP I can see that a few people have expressed an interest, so maybe it's working for you as it is. Best of luck
