Eggs in one basket

This has happened to me only a couple of times over the years!! Where I really really liked someone and wanted to make a connection with them!! After spending hours fine tuning a message to them and finally sending it!! You wait for a reply and then you wait some more then you wait a little longer, Then you check again if shes read your message!! Nope it's been deleted!! It may sound rude not to get a reply but I get it! If you're being messaged a number of times a day you can't reply to everyone. !! But I know some people get very abusive if they don't get a reply which shocks me! One thing I have learnt from this site is not to keep all your eggs in one basket, I wonder if others have the same view??

Neither do we, however we just delete messages after if they are not what we are looking for, sounds harsh I know, but no point in endless messages with people we are never going to meet

That's exactly my point I think I've learnt from experience over the years! If don't reply with in a certain time frame they most likely won't ever!

sometimes I feel bad ignoring mail but often when you reply politely that you are not meeting anyone new at the moment some people reply that they are happy to chat or can we keep in touch? Sadly sometimes it's easier to delete the message if they are not what you are looking for, if I sent a message and it got deleted I'd block the person so you don't contact them again, then move on

i don't understand why you'd want to connect with someone you've never spoken to before? seems shallow and not the requirements for connection.

anyway, yeah you learn early on never to rely on one person, to always have plenty of guys willing to meet you. i used to fuck a lot of guys coz one guy was not satisfying, but i've learnt how to have more satisfying meets, they're just very infrequent...which in turn can also be unsatisfying.

i think it's why a lot of singles start looking for something more substantial because NSA doesn't really work if you enjoy sex and have a high sex drive.

If someone doesn't read my messages or reads and doesn't reply I view it as being ignorant and just block the person so I don't make the mistake and message them again
