Imagine the male/female ratio on here was in your favour, and your sex was in short supply. Read your own two sentences on your profile. Would you, meet you ? Would you go out of your way to fulfil that mission

You missed the point. Why would someone message you for more 'in depth' information about you, when there are profiles with lots of information, clearly expressing what they offer and seek ? Read some profiles and get some ideas/examples
