"Never had any complaints"

This is by far the most low IQ regurgitated phrase on these forums lol

Repeated by people with no imagination at all. . It's almost as bad as "do you come here often".

The annoying thing is, these people think they are being quick witted and amusing nerrrrrrrrrr

Please for the love of god people, think whilst you are writing your posts and stop writing embarrassing cliches all the time.

Lol Rant over !

"The shite about pulling up a chair and reaching for popcorn. Just why? "

Like most cliche phrases. . People don't take the time to think about what they are typing. Like sheep they conform to the group mentality in order to not stand out.

I think it really shows someone's persona when you see them writing cliches.. . I doubt they are very imaginative in the bedroom if they write cliches without even realizing.

I've tried to assume that before only to read on through the thread to find out that no, they are stating it as an absolute - threads that go south about bbws are a good example of where that can happen. Or threads about cheating. Or threads about bareback. I could continue but it's easy enough to find it.

Obviously anything someone posts on a thread is an opinion but there have been quite a few threads where it has been stated as the sole truth.

The other thing I've realised must be added to any statement, is an adjective reflecting quantity, otherwise some will think I meant 'all'. E.g. to start a sentence with 'I get annoyed when single men.....', I'm not actually saying whether I'm referring to 'some', 'most', '20%', 'a few', 'a lot' ''all' etc. To me common sense would suggest I mean something along the lines of 'a few' or 'some' single men. But if I foolishly forget to put a quantity adjective it will be assumed that I meant 'all' single men.

"'In my opinion' .

People use this phrase just to cover their back here in the forums.

Gosh I always make sure I add that disclaimer in. Learnt the hard way that I will be subject to a telling by off if I don't make it glaringly obvious that it's only my opinion. The other disclaimer I feel I have to put in is 'in my experience'

I agree. It's not covering your back, it's making it clear you have your own opinion on the subject.

I think it's far better than stating something like it's the gospel truth and applicable to all.

I tend to assume that when someone says something they are expressing their opinion or stating from experience.

I've tried to assume that before only to read on through the thread to find out that no, they are stating it as an absolute - threads that go south about bbws are a good example of where that can happen. Or threads about cheating. Or threads about bareback. I could continue but it's easy enough to find it.

Obviously anything someone posts on a thread is an opinion but there have been quite a few threads where it has been stated as the sole truth."

Yes some people believe their opinions to be fact, that's true. In that situation then adding the phrase 'in my opinion' probably is meaningless.

That is true, but some things are fact.

""Never had any complaints"

This is by far the most low IQ regurgitated phrase on these forums lol

Repeated by people with no imagination at all. . It's almost as bad as "do you come here often".

The annoying thing is, these people think they are being quick witted and amusing nerrrrrrrrrr

Please for the love of god people, think whilst you are writing your posts and stop writing embarrassing cliches all the time.

Lol Rant over !

For me it's all the couples telling everyone about their perfect marriage and saying no-one who lives in the vanilla world has one of these super marriages. Who are they trying to convince?

The other thing I've realised must be added to any statement, is an adjective reflecting quantity, otherwise some will think I meant 'all'. E.g. to start a sentence with 'I get annoyed when single men.....', I'm not actually saying whether I'm referring to 'some', 'most', '20%', 'a few', 'a lot' ''all' etc. To me common sense would suggest I mean something along the lines of 'a few' or 'some' single men. But if I foolishly forget to put a quantity adjective it will be assumed that I meant 'all' single men."

I was going to mention the need for the word *some* otherwise it is deemed as all.

If common sense prevailed it would half the outrage displayed on here overnight.

*Ooops hold on ~ some outrage & in my opinion...

The continued use of "LOL"

I'm not sure exactly what it means. Does it mean "Lots of love" or "Lots of laughs"?

What is a "MILF"? Is there a definitive description?

The use of "text speak". The English language is such a wonderful thing. Why reduce it to trash.

The enquiry "Wot you done today". Can't quite understand why he lost interest when the reply was, "I emptied the septic tank"! By the way, that was not a euphemism, a mere statement of fact.

I am I guilty of ranting?

It does stop them. We hardly ever get cock pics sent to us, and hardly ever profile that are mainly cock message us. Saying that at the beginning of the profile has made a big difference. But stating that also means that if it is ignored then we can delete without being accused of being rude.
