I think it's best to be open if you can. I had a recent experience with a married guy and his wife found out and all hell broke loose. For some people it's just an experiment and if no one gets harmed then that's fine. However, if someone gets hurt because their partner has found out then having experienced a similar thing myself I can quite understand their getting upset.
