I was wondering if any of you may shed some light on here.

I have been on here for a while, had a couple of meets but would like more, alot of people are put when they see I have not had alot of meets or not alot of feedback, I do not have a problem with hat and respect that, but its hare to get a meet if no one will meet as I have no feedback, I am considering looking elsewhere and wondered if Contact mags are still any good, and if so, can anyone recomend a few?

do they still do them ?

i would have thought the interweb would have decimated their intended marketplace somewhat !

i remember finding 1 of them as a kid when i was staying over with dad and being intrigued

and now 25/30 years later i find myself poking about in a similar vain

a little bit of history repeating ?

I used contact mags in the early 80's they were crap then and if they still exist I cant see them being any better.

But why not try. If you are unsatisfied with responses from Fab I think you might find its not the fault of the site.................look closer to home.

I can't see the point in contact mags, leaving a message and then waiting weeks for a reply, if you ever do receive one. I would have thought the web is by far the easiest option. You can send messages immediately and know when people have read them, then if they haven't responded in a day you know they are not interested, or you'll get a reply if they are.

It isn't the sites fault though is it.

No way am I blaming the site, does not help benig a single male as there are so many of us, I am just wanting some fun, and just simply wondered if there may still be any decent contact mag.

I respect all females and couples that have rules abiut who they meet, it was just a querry that was all, thanks all so far that have taken the time to reply, it is appreciated

You do see contact mags around sometimes. The last one I saw was just full of adverts from people offering paid for services. Keep trying on fab, you come across as a decent bloke, it just takes time. As you say yourself there are loads of men on here, such is life. Be yourself good luck.

Get yourself to a social event ASAP, meet some people and prove what a decent guy you are.

You might not get anything more than a few hellos and a bit of convo the first time out but ist a great place to start meeting people.

We are about 15 mins outa Pontypridd and we do go to Crawley in west sussex 2-3 times a year so get in touch !!

Socials are by far the best way to get yourself known. We had been on another site without too many responses, we decided to try a social and after that it took off!

definatly the best way for a single guy.

Since discovering the internet I gave up using contact mags. They where slow and could workout expensive.

There possibly still are few publications that have adult classified maybe the odd contact mag.

Given the choice between contact mag or Fab, then it has to be Fab.

Agree with other posters here, a social or a club may be the way to go to get noticed and mixing with other fabbers. Good luck! xxx

I dont see the connection between lack of friends or veri's showing on profile and number of meets. I show neither.

I know single guys that also dont show either, and they get meets, Although I have never nosied at how busy they are!

I think its a patience game and agree with the others, socials & clubs make some connections and friends. I take a personal reference over whatever is on a profile...
