Not really no. They were clearly not sure about you and were trying to get to know you through messaging. They've obviously found you unappealing, didn't want you asking why so saved the awkwardness and blocked you instead. Just move on!

People's lives are bigger than swinging and so much else can alter plans for people.

Irrespective of the stage that things have reached, from tentative first message, through to having spent time together, blocking is an acceptable way for people to end any further interaction.

We need to just accept that we're not going further with them and move on. If you're always yourself, not limiting your options to one possible partnership, then you're fine. It's how things are here and only relates to their choices, not your offer.

I was thinking the same, or visa versa. I had a guy cancel on me, send me a really horrid message & block me. Then his girlfriend messaged me privately to say he'd done it to hurt her after an argument, because she'd really fancied me. Lucky escape for me in the end I feel, I'm not interested in all that bloody drama!!!!!
