This site is great and on the whole admin are on the ball when it comes to getting rid of fake profiles . Despite this the number of obviously dodgy and fake profiles on here is ridiculous , I had a quick seaarch in my area and at least 60% of the female profile are very very dubious is this common in different areas ??

That seems like an unusually large percentage, but as you've done the research I'll take your word for it. I'd probably say that of the 'ladies' who contact me probably one or two a week raise my suspicions regarding their veracity.

60%..really? sounds way way over the top..what is it that you see as being dubious about them? ive seen some, and get messaged by 'couples' who are obviously fake, but that seems a ridiculously high number..

Fake photos, ridiculous status updates , blank profiles. 60% is high but that's only my findings in the last 2 hours, maybe Thursdays are a bad day

I have had a couple of fakes 1 stalker type, and quite a few that ask if i play on my own do they read profiles, or is ot a waste of time writing one

I have both this and a couple profile. I meet alone on this profile and as a couple on the couple one. It works for me/us.

The same thing works for many couples, I was just trying to understand how the Op got to 60%.

If people are so good at spotting so called fake profiles, why do they spend so much time whinging about them?

Surely they can easily avoid talking to them if they are that good at spotting them, and instead focus their energy on the ones that obviously aren't.

My profile is blank of text and I always have ridiculous status... but I'm well verified and clearly not a fake.

Oh that? That comment took mere seconds to compose. Whereas this one is a little longer...

What obviously takes up a lot of your time is going through ALL of the single female profiles in your area, categorising them as Fake and Non-fake, coming up with your 60% bullshit and then whinging about it on here. And then getting a cob on when someone says something you don't like about it.

I'd argue that of the two of us, you're wasting more of your time than me and should just deal with it.

The ones that could be deemed timewasters are those on single fem profiles & then in wording its "I have a partner/fb and won't meet couples alone".

There's always going to be a percentage of fake profiles on sites like this unfortunately.

But to mh knowledge ive never conversed with anyone with a fake profile?

Maybe they dont target me because of who I am ?

Interesting that you find that 60% are "dubious". So on average 6/10 are "dubious" ... but on the plus side, 4/10 are "real". Actually 4/10 isn't bad. Mike.

I just presume if someone has been on the site for over a month and has not picture verified themselves then they are fake. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule but my time is limited and so concentrate on those I believe to be genuine.
