If he's coming straight from work it's fine.

I prefer casual to meet, as I'd feel extremely underdressed.

Not unless you can wear a suit extremely well, they are very unforgiving if you don't have the confidence to match the suit.

I'm meeting a friend tonight and she has asked for me to be suited up.

However, she has also asked that I be wearing stockings and knickers underneath.

I prefer to be dressed casual for a meet as I'm more relaxed & usually wear suits for posh restaurants, business, industry parties, weddings etc...its hard to fuck in a suit lol.

Depends on the type of meet and the scenario. To echo what others have said a) suits are not that comfortable for close encounters b) its hard to fuck in one c). However, if the start of the meet is somewhere upmarket il happily dress for the occasion.

A suit is only unforgiving if it is fitted badly. Sleeve length, shoulder width, jacket size. Get these, and a few other basics spot on and you will look and feel the business
