Why do some people put they are a couple when the profile text or headline states "single man looking for fun," Your either part of a couple or your not, I just don't understand some people's mentality!

Because it ensures that their profile comes up in searches it would otherwise be excluded from or their relationship has ended and they don't know how to change the status.
