They may offer an 'illusion' of friendship or tell people what they want to hear to get what they want. often willing to jump through hoops in order to add another conquest. Probably very common on this type of site.

Some find them deceitful, some are attracted by them, others don't care.

It does beg the question though, are these women actually being played or are some of them just playing along?

I wonder what percentage of women on here know they are being played but just accept it for what it is as opposed to those that are naive enough to believe all is genuine.

From my _iewpoint - and it is soley my _iewpoint - I think there are a lot of insecure, lonely women on these forums. You can tell those that enjoy the teasing and banter, but they are few and far between the ones that are eager for the compliments and truly believe they are what these men say.

The plethora of "would you..." type threads are testament to that...usually started by the same people.

If certain women can't see they are being played, let the player play I say.

While the odd bit of flattery can be nice on occasions, we generally don't take 'compliments' and what people say seriously...tend to shrug most of it off as let's face it, people will say what they think you want to hear to get in your knickers.

Of course there are exceptions and you can usually tell....

I cant see the "would u" threads really having much weight, after all its mainly about pictures and profiles...in an actual meeting i dunno if Im going to be wanted or vice versa...sorry but i see the site as only a stepping stone to actually getting what u want to a degree...the proof of what happens off the site,i.e the actual shagging part is a bit more complex than a "would u" thread, I use it more for a fun aspect and of coirse a possible incling of what may be, even gettin extra contact details such as msn,telephone stuff..never makes me think i'm even guaranteed a meet, and even On an actual meet I never feel like I'm guaranteed a meet.

Bullshit is the same wherever it is spouted

There are probably some women on here that are vulnerable but most play the game and know exactly what they are doing

Remember girls learn the rules in the playground and at a very early age

Flattery is nice as long as you know and realise it is only part of the game

The only thing that let's these forums down are the women who go to far and enjoy making nasty comments - maybe they were bullies at school (or possibly bullied themselves) - most women can stand up for themselves against these types - sorry blokes you'll have to fend for youselves

Some really good points made here, I believe women who understand the dynamic play just as much as men. Those that are insecure and in some cases vulnerable are possibly oblivious which is a sad thought.....

Another hypothetical slant on this.....if it's all a game, when people demand they want to get to know someone better over time (outside of pure attraction and safety), are they just inviting people to play the game? After all the goal for most on here is NSA isn't it?

I think sometimes this is put on by people who don't want to appear 'easy'

If it's taken seriously I feel you will have some people who are de-friended quite quickly after a couple of meets (or only one lol)

I maybe totally cynical but I doubt many of the women who put they only meet for coffee and a chat the first time actually really do that

And men may say they like to do that but really they are hoping for a lot more

It's usually women that put this, and sometimes, and I repeat, sometimes, I get the impression they are looking for more than just nsa. Especially when you see they've verified the same man after every meet - it looks like territory marking to me.

I dislike the territory marking too. I have verified a guy twice before but this was out of politeness I guess. We meet and have a threesome fairly regularly but I won't verify him further as its silly.

I guess I'm a player, I will message guys and flirt etc, I also have a regular guy who looks at me every day without fail and will message after every new pic I post. I enjoy it as I'm an exhibitionist. IMHO, whenever a lady suggests I meet too many people (what constitutes "too many" in her opinion is beyond me if she's never met me) that sets off alarm bells as that interpretes as "I would rather have you only to myself".

My reaction = run for the hills!

Or the women that get upset that some guy they played with went off to meet some other lady (errr... its a swingers site, not "Monogamous-Meets-R-Us").

If someone wants monogamy, then that's for them - if they expect that from others, then they (he or she) should expect a lot of disappointment from a swingers site.
