yes i think thats a good idea ,be nice if the chat could be the same, we have nothing aainst single guys but going through all the names to find couples or fems gets a bit borring, as were not looking 4 single guys

Definately not - there is enough segregation on the site as it is, what with Irish, Welsh, Scottish, London and whatever other rooms there are, then on top of that you have the folks fighting amongst each other ..

No No No - please no more segregation, lets just all live like the happy, tolerant family that we are supposed to be

You're right what you are saying, and we've said the same for a long time. We are all pissing in the same pot, so why does everyone want their own little corner to sit in ?

All it does is alienate groups of people from each other ...

Too may labels put onto groups of people we think ? We are all swingers and it's high time people got to grips with the fact and started to act as though they're swingers and not rival groups who want nothing to do with each other

Oldgit - what you are saying is in keeping with our views - too much segregation is not good for a community, in fact too much segregation causes the community to cease to exist -then where would we all be ?

fab have seriously lost its way since site supporter silver and gold any tom dick and harry can support with a mobile phone giving him access to photos in larger format and veiws to all new pics downloaded turned in to a pervs timewasters site well the way its going there will be no real couples left to have a couples only room

Segregation is never a good thing but everyone has personal preferences. In fact if somewhere is couples and single fems only I don't go, as although I get along with couples I generally only play with single guys.

only meant "our room" cos thats where I mostly chat and meet from. Every room on the site is really "OUR ROOM". I think thats why we have the certain rooms for localities for easier meets, not to separate us. If we have too much segreation, where will it stop. It can be endless, bi or gay females only, males only, we could end up being ageist and as we know that would be breaking the law lol (cos i an oldie lol)

You'd think the original poster had said all room should be shut in order to just have one cpls only room by some of the reactions!

Were not for or against it! It'd be good for cpls to talk to cpls that are all verified! But then what huge difference will it make! Maybe once cpls are outnumbered 20 to 1 by the feared single male then it'd prob be a good idea!

For now we are more than happy with OUR Scottish room ha ha you can take our single males but you'll never take our freedom

Not having a go at the couples (God forbid!), but a couples only room would inevitably make it more difficult for us single guys. What I think WOULD be a good idea would be for a search facility, enabling those cpls who ARE looking to meet single men (or women) to be listed separately? Save an awful lot of reading through profiles, some of which CAN be unclear as to whether singles are welcomed. Any thoughts?

That raises, yet again, the value of verifications. Would it be couples who have been verified by chatting on the phone? By webcam? What about verified couples who aren't a couple any more but haven't revised the profile?

yes but alan if couples are NOT look for single men they can BLOCK so if single men are not BLOCKED they know couples are into single men.If ppl cant be bothered to use the BLOCK system then they have to put up with single men. I was told by one couple that single people should not be classed as SWINGERS huh so few of us have decided that we are SWINGLES. AT the end of the day everyone on the site is looking for SEX i THINK. lol enjoy

Only today I have seen 3 instances of xenophobia, albeit from the same member, who, in my opinion, was being rude to other members of our swinging and human society. We all breathe, sleep and poo the same what difference should it make whether you are single F, single M, MF cpl, FF cpl or MM cpl. If your thing is for any of the above categories, make sure you put it on your profile. We personally are not looking for single guys, but both my hubby and I look at lots of different profiles and send email and winks (if that profiles agrees to them) mainly just to comment on a good profile. There IS too much segregation on this site already (we even feel it as we are 'soft swingers' only and boy do we get frowned upon sometimes), so PLEASE don't spoil it by adding more.

I presume because most cpls would be more likley to notice payments coming off each others cards or see each others statements at one time or another.

Therefore its easier for a: cheating singles b: pic collectors to pay on a mobile .

Couples only room would not be much cop for couples looking for single males. Many couples do this and often they don't advertise this fact.

What would also help for couples stressed by being contacted by single males is to remove them from their search option and to stop them viewing their profile via the privacy settings. This also effects you when in the chatroom

Any further seperation would start to undermine the purpose of this site

Joking aside - that's not such a bad idea....

I think the more labels that are put onto rooms, the more people will feel excluded and won't go into those rooms. I for one, and yes I've said this before, won't go into any of the regional rooms because I feel that they are exactly as they say - for Scottish, Welsh, Irish ... bal bla bla. I know without doubt that I would me made welcome in there, however because it is labeled - I feel that I would be intruding by going into 'their' room when I am not one of 'them' And I'm a chatroom moderator ffs!

didnt think it would be such a diverse reaction but im glad it brought ppl together to talk the reason the directing is so popular is it is cam directing! the other rooms are not if all had the directing allowed would that change the amount of ppl in one room? similar if cpls who were varifide by fab had a difrent coloured name then ppl looking 4 cpls would know who to chat to without looking through profiles and that would not disturb the whisper group also would it not work having the last answer first on a forum instead of last just a thought! ty for your comments

I can see the point that having a couples only room would bring up many issues since the chat rooms seem to be only used for general chat like any other kind of chat room, or for those whom like to watch and be watched. A room for those whom wish to arrange a meet would be good, I know there is the meet today listings but when ur in chat its much easier to get the gist of a persons or couples personality. However you wish to use the chat room I do see that they are limited as it can be hard to keep up with a conversation when the room is full and its very hard if ppl are trying to talk to u in whisper as well. I am a reasonably fast typer and i struggle sometimes and miss a lot, it would be much easier if when whispering if u could just click on the persons name rather than have to type it in or have the whisper come up in a separate box altogether. I think its the way that room is hard to follow when full which makes ppl turn to the ideas of segregation as that would reduce the numbers in room. and therefore make it easier to chat with the kind of ppl your looking to hopefully meet.

Couples who wish to chat and/or meet single guys or ladies have the opportunity already to mix so why shouldn't people who feel differently be denied that opportunity, it also helps keep the rooms a little smaller and more managible?

Its ok saying we are all swingers but why should we all mix if we dont want to, we don't all go to coffee and cream, greedy girls or Bi nights at swingers clubs but we don't deny those who want to the opportunity, to us its about choice and thats all the original post was about.

Good point, but then you may find all the sections of the swinging comunity would want a room of their own

we would love a couples room and the only members saying no to it are all the single men in most of the room we go in ,it is full of 95%single men so why do we have to go right down the list to find a couples profile
