Reading messages and not replying

I've sent few people messages and they've read them but not replied I think it's rude what do others think

Read the FAQ of the site no reply means no thank you.

Single females and couples get loads of messages if we replied to them all we would never have time to do anything else. And sometimes if you do reply with a no thank you then you tend to either get asked "but why?" Or a ton of abuse

Do you reply to every piece of junk mail you receive through your letter box? Do you chat to every unsolicited cold caller that rings your phone?

- haven't read what we are looking for and don't match

- have crap profiles, no photos or text

- not verified

- we don't feel attracted to

Those are just examples.

The ladies on here receive hundreds of messages. . . We'd have to spend all day replying to every one of them even if it's a polite no thanks. It's not that they're deliberately being rude, just don't have the time or inclination to reply to every "wanna fuck" message. So just take a no reply to mean they aren't interested.

Neither of your pictures are very flattering. Try taking some body pictures. Most of us ladies like to see a nice bum picture and to see what your body looks like.

I currently have 792 unread messages!

In spite of that - last week I took time out to reply to a guy who'd sent me 20+ messages in the space of about 48 hours. I asked for a face pic - which he sent! I explained that he wasn't my type sexually but that, so he'd be verified and have more chance on the site, I'd meet him for a coffee!

He said I was too far for a coffee - I said no worries but wished him luck on the site!

He sent me five further messages telling me how shallow I am to go on looks when meeting! I politely asked him to accept my decision and 'move on'.

I THEN got another message calling me a bitch and asking me who I think I am asking him not to contact me etc!

ONLY THEN did I block him!

He's one of 3 people I've blocked on fab in as many years!!

I will NEVER send a 'no thank you ' message again!

I do, however wish there was a standard one we could send at the click of a button so the sender knows where they stand - which will automatically block them if they don't stop messaging after that!

It'd make life easier for everyone I think! X

People SHOULD already know where they stand. A no response is clearly explained to represent a no thank you.

No thanks messages have resulted in abuse, whining, "but why?", "I'm the best you'll ever get", magical appearances of previously unspoken of attractive bi ladies who only meet through his profile and on and on and on.

People say not replying is lazy and/or rude. I fail to see how a one click no thanks button will be received any differently.
