Of winking at someone, and then when you check out their profile, they don't have any pictures and usually no text either?

When we wink we usually mean "check out our profile and let us know if you like what you see" so when people wink us, but dont have anything for us to see, I just think "what's the point"

Does this frustrate anyone else?

Thank God someone said it! It does my head in. Why bother making yourself noticed by winking, when I can't even see them? Even if I ask for a photo from them, they just don't reply. I just don't take notice of the blank profiles now

It's not just no pics most of them don't even have any text written on the profile.

Not really that, what does though is looking, seeing you might like to know more, send a nice message, you know thanks for wink yada yada, leave them an open..To get back "Hi, yeah, you OK?" In the early days we'd keep trying, now its "Oh ffs, bugger off if you can't make the effort, we are not doing all the bloody work"

Occasionally but I just don't delete the wink though as that way they can't wink again

Yep had them as well they get blocked straight away as really don't see why they would hide there profile unless it's fake

I wish I could block all winks as I don't bother even looking at them. Normally blank profiles and even hidden ones , pointless

Fab is not fun in our experience. It is anything but.

The fun part is the actual meet itself. Not the interminable exchanges of messages with fantasists, timewasters, abusive sociopaths and the mentally disturbed.

All to be encountered and discarded like kissing so many frogs before finding a very rare Prince.

Sadly that is often a unavoidable part of the fab "experience".

The op definitely has a point but on the scale of irritations that are encountered on fab that I feel is low on the scale.

Nothing frustrates me in here or any internet site.

I have a life outside to live so refuse to let what happens in a virtual world vex me.

Its just a bit of a light hearted fun in my opinion.

If that's the case why wink isn't that sort of asking for contact? If I didn't want contact I wouldn't bring people's attention to me or my profile. Just my thoughts on that though

For me a wink, is me saying I like your profile. I find it a time saving thing. It saves me writing a message, you deleting the message.

Simply because as we have yet to find a better way to hook up with other swingers.

Trust me if there was we would not waste any more time dealing with the many wasters who proliferate on fab

I'm from the above profiles same area and can agree with what they surmise about our area!

I find it extremely hard to meet on here as well, but I do live in hope, and in answer to the original question, I do not look at my winks, so they are wasted on me

Doesn't frustrate me, I just delete and block them
