Most of the time, we ignore timewasters on here. They make it so obvious that's what they are and aren't worth the effort. You know the type!

But every now and again, we just can't resist winding them up. You know, talking about meets, what we'd like to do etc.

Does anyone else enjoy this sport?

It's hard enough picking through sometimes as it is especially as ghosting is so popular. This type of behaviour just makes it worse for those of us that do actually want to meet !

Timewaster (for baiting purposes): Those whose profile pics we recognise from other places online/other profiles/porn. Those who claim to be hardened swingers, yet have a few profiles within a short space of time, and have contacted us trying to pretend to be different people but using the exact same messages (word for word) and send the exact same cock shots (despite claiming to be a single woman...)

Giving them what they want: Not quite - we always keep it rather vague and never send photos. Perhaps worded badly in our OP.

Timewasters ourselves: I suppose so, but strictly in the context of our OP! For real people, i.e. those with photos; veris; can string a sentence together; and will do an FF phonecall- we'd never waster their time.

Additionally, forgot to mention that once we have enough to go on for the admins, we do report. Usually the profiles are gone as quickly as they arrived. x

If they want to waste your time isn't you wasting your time in an attempt to wind them up actually just giving them what they want.... Your time?! Now they also know you think you're playing some kind of clever game when in reality it's just a sad way to waste your time that you didnt want wasted in the first place.

I do know what you're saying and it's bloody tempting sometimes because they are so annoying. But if you piss them off they'll just go annoy someone else. Or come back on a new profile and do the same to you.

Just like to add, in case it wasn't clear in our OP - this is every now and again. Which for us isn't every minute of the day! Just, perhaps once or twice a year. Guess our OP could have been clearer/more detailed! x

I would say a time waster is someone who arranges a meet, time, place etc, you spend time getting ready, travel to the meet and its a no show with no contact from them. I don't class chatting on here as time wasting especially if you know they're not serious about a meet, you just leave them to it, well, that's what I do anyway!

We must define time wasters very differently.

A time waster for us is someone who's arranged a meet and not turned up. Anything else is just time on the computer. We'd have been doing that anyway so no time wasted.
