... the number of guys who exchange a few words, send us a few pics of their dick and then expect to meet for sex, not having bothered to even find what we're looking for/offering. Yesterday we exchanged a few short messages with a guy who promised he'd read our profile and agreed to chat later on in the evening. When we caught up his first message was to ask for a face pic and when we declined he sent a message saying he was leaving the site because we're all time-wasters blah blah blah... What world do these guys live in I wonder?

Easy, we did like the sound of him that's why we agreed to chat later. If we'd realised how he'd react we wouldn't have done that in the first place. So not the same world we live in at all really eh?...

Of course it's the same world, you wanted him to dance to your tune and he wanted you to dance to his. The only difference is that he didn't put a thread up criticising you.

We wouldn't accuse someone of being a timewaster, but if face pics are not exchanged then we don't see the point in continuing the conversation and would quietly retreat.

The thing is anyone can post any pics they like as we found out very recently when we met a guy from another site. That's why I go on camera and expect the same. I'm not meeting anyone based on a pic that might be 10 years old or even of someone else.

We didn't have a problem with him asking, it was his response to our answer which led to this thread and since he's not named and isn;t any longer a member he won't be too upset.

I won't go on cam either. My mum used to push me to Skype with the kids. I would reluctantly hover in the background. Hate it. Feel hugely uncomfortable talking on cam. My husband doesn't mind so much, but I don't think he would be overly keen talking to a stranger on cam. We've never been asked to though, and face pics have always worked very well for us.

I'm not clutching at straws, your opening post is clear and it's not a personal attack. I'm just highlighting how he may have perceived you.

You've only had one verification in 4 years and that was from a bloke on cam (that doesn't prove you meet people). You won't swop face pictures after a message exchange (not necessarily a deal breaker for me but I would suggest a deal breaker for the majority).

It's easy to attack single guys on here because many of them are not going to want to upset a couple, but I can see why he concluded that you were time wasters. I don't know if he came to the right conclusion.

It's not personal.

I expect to swap face pics straight away when I start chatting to someone. If you refused to send me a face pic I'd immediately lose interest too!

In the 'real world' people like to make sure they're attracted to someone before they have sex with them!

That's all he was doing!

The only thing he did wrong in my opinion was in his response calling you time wasters etc, but I can understand why he wouldn't be happy continuing to chat if no pics are exchanged. I wouldn't either.

It takes, at most, a few minutes to upload a pic from your phone onto 'private' pics! No-one will ever see it unless you choose to send it to them! Therefore there is NO excuse not to have a face pic on your fab account!

I've had people ask me to go on cam, kik, e-mail etc etc to see their faces!

No-one is that special - and if you can't be arsed to spend 2 minutes uploading a pic to private - then I can't be arsed to take the conversation any further!

To be honest I see his point. I'm sick of people asking for face pic with first message and then start chatting and refuse to send face pic back. I think it's rude and if your not willing to exchange face pics then you have something to hide, like the fact that your not what it says in your profile

We never cam,its not our thing ,I have to agree with the single guy,if we had sent our face pics first i would expect one in return if they said they was interested,although i wouldnt call anyone a timewaster,i would be thinking it ,
