I've found I have had to start reverse image searching. It's amazing the number of fakes it catches out. Why has it come to that. So frustrating.

If anything looks too good to be true then I tineye it. Most of the people doing it don't even try to be consistent so they'll post photos of entirely different people, none of which are them.

I caught a guy yesterday who was chatting to a girl I know. His pics belong to some American porn star. When she confronted him he asked where she found the pics so he could add some more to his profile. Ain't guys hilarious sometimes.

There is a browser add on for tineye that allows you yo right click and search image. I use it all the time on the "too good to be true" profiles.

I've been searching out fakes since way before I joined Fab. By the time I got here I was a dab hand at it.

Previous to reverse image search I used to do a search using key words, such as "hot men", "abs photos", "gay hunks". I found quite a few pop up on gay websites, usually from the US.

A couple of them turned up on here too.

I've had a number of guys caught out -one guy even tried to still make out it was actually him. Even though his Instagram said he was in Las Vegas and he was currently in Portsmouth! Good one

you are joking a few seconds, how many photos do you think get uploaded each day ? best would be to make them unique to fab so if found elsewhere they get deleted .

Who knew that George Clooney, James Franco, Prince Harry, Jensen Ackles, Carol Vorderman, Alex O'Loughlin from Hawaii 5 O to name a few, have profiles on here.....along with all those guys with massive cocks which all seem to have their pics on gay porn sites.

Fab does seem very popular with international celebrities.

They use it for any suspect pic trying to be approved already.

Not all pics you find on google will mean the profile on here is fake. There are PV verified and well verified profiles on here who are on many other sites too, including a couple of porn stars, so just because it is on google doesn't mean it isn't them on here.

We had pics taken from another site and put on profiles on another site and even had our pics made into a video on Youtube, none of those profiles were us. Sometimes it isn't black and white.

Having said that, if you see any pics you think are suspect, always report and Admin will check it out, if a mistake has been made they will be removed.

Tineye is great, I have the firefox extention so just right click an image, many on here we have found use images from the web

Big fans of Tineye here too! Sometimes it doesn't catch them but Google will and vice versa. Always a good tool to use for the 'too good to be true' newbies that pop up. That said we found one who had been on the site for almost a year. They messaged us one day and I ran their pics - they were from several tumblr accounts. Reported to admin and they were gone a day later.

One user had tried to be clever by cropping a photo right down and adding some filters. Tineye still found it.

I didn't know about the browser extension so cheers for that!
