Isn't it the best feeling in the world when the results come back as all clear?

Just had mine back. Was slightly anxious even though I practise safe sex.

I like getting my text message. I guess even if you know you've been safe and had no symptoms there is still that elimimant of fear until you get the all clear.

Don't forget though that some std's will need testing for again in 3 months!

Like the majority, we always practise safe sex, but understand that there are no 100% guarantees, but whether it's a on-the-spot result or a text message, there's always a slight moment of relief.

Haha, that's so true. Very proud of my clean licence, which I've never had endorsed. Very proud of my all clear from the clinic!!

My last one was scary. They phoned me instead of texting to say they'd like to discuss my results. Cue the bottom clenching moment of horror before they said there wasn't quite enough blood in the sample to do the hep B check.... wish she'd just said that first!!!

I go to the gum clinic at preston hospital. Never felt judged yet and they give me extra free condoms because I tell them I'm a swinger! Honesty's important to ensure you're getting all the tests/checks you need!

not happened with us ever . always be honest with the doc and you will get the correct tests.

My clinic knows I swing...gotta be fully honest! Always been fine about it...makes sure you get the tests you need! When asking about recent sexual partners I just referred to them as 'Mr and Mrs Nottinghamshire' I got a giggle..

Dont you just hate that. Mine dont text me unless there is an issue. Got a text to contact them...was worried... and it was to tell me that they had some latex condoms in.

I love this text so much, there is that moment of relief, followed by the desire to show it off - almost like you've just aced a test. The last results I got through whilst I was with a play partner, and I did just that. Literally shoved the phone in his face with a rather cheesy proud smile on my face.

Sometimes I wonder if I should be allowed out in public.

Yes we do let them know that we are swingers and that are also on the feitish scene and that we partake in needle play, all safe and hygienic of course, never felt as though they were judging us and have even had one or two curious about the BDSM scene.

We must use the same clinic. Last time I was checked I was promised a text either way, new policy, but nothing, so I rang them and was told I would have had a phone call if there was anything to worry about, they are behind with the negative text messages so I must be OK. Still waiting nearly 3 months later and due to pop in again for my next text. WTF?
